Converse turns London Underground ad space into a graffiti battleground with Kerve

The customer Converse faced the challenge of creatively promoting their new TieDye sneakers and injecting a sense of mischief into their digital banner campaign, aligning with their global "Shoes Are Boring" brand message. They tasked the vendor Kerve with developing a solution to amplify this campaign online.

Kerve developed interactive, paint-throwing animations for the digital banners. The solution was so successful that Converse expanded its use, projecting the animations onto billboards across the London Underground for a major out-of-home (OOH) takeover. Kerve also created an innovative web experience that allowed users to "throw" paint on a digital canvas using their smartphone's accelerometer. This multi-channel approach generated significant engagement and creatively launched the new product line.
