A Kerv Case Study
Knauf, the global building materials company, needed to fix a disorganised and costly mobile communications estate in 2015 after its existing network provider failed to deliver the service levels it needed. Working with Kerv, Knauf looked to reduce costs, consolidate multiple mobile accounts, improve efficiency and simplify administration across its mobile services.
Kerv analysed tariffs and working processes, trialled SIMs and handsets, mapped signal strength across Knauf’s 20-acre production site, and implemented a new EE corporate tariff plan for 150 mobile users and 80 tablet users. Kerv also added signal-boosting devices, upgraded devices for the operations team, and provided ongoing support and simplified billing with multiple cost centres. The result was a 30% saving on Knauf’s monthly bill, reduced administration time, and a mobile estate that grew to 300 users while prompting Knauf to renew its contract with Kerv.
