Vitec Group, a global manufacturer of premium branded products and solutions for the image capture and content creation market, was struggling with high global WAN costs, limited visibility into application traffic, and the operational burden of managing and troubleshooting its network. Kerv helped address these issues with a Silverpeak SD-WAN solution, alongside managed services.

Kerv ran a multi-vendor trial and selected Silverpeak for Vitec’s WAN optimisation needs, then rolled out the SD-WAN across all 17 global sites. The trial improved data transfer times over transatlantic links by 75%, and the final solution delivered centralised control and visibility, reduced operational overhead, and cost savings through a move from expensive MPLS to an internet-only SD-WAN.
