A Kerv Case Study
Kerv worked with Formula 1 Racing Team to solve a costly connectivity challenge across 23 race sites around the world. Each venue was only active for a few weeks each year, yet the team was paying for annual MPLS contracts and needed a way to move large volumes of time-sensitive data back to UK HQ without sacrificing bandwidth or performance.
Kerv recommended and deployed an SD-WAN solution, specifically Silver Peak, after helping the team evaluate competing vendors. The new setup replaced expensive MPLS with local internet connections, used small-footprint appliances that could be redeployed from site to site, and improved WAN optimisation, zero-touch provisioning, agility, and underlay performance while reducing inefficiency and supporting better application performance.
