Barnsley Premier Leisure (BPL) is a not-for-profit charitable trust providing sport and leisure facilities across several regions, and it needed to replace aging on-premise phone and contact centre systems that were unreliable, costly to maintain, and difficult to manage. With more than 400 calls a day flowing through the contact centre, BPL wanted a modern communications platform that could better support customers, improve reporting, and keep services connected to the community.
Kerv implemented its Voxivo cloud phone system and VoxivoCX cloud contact centre, replacing the legacy PBX estate with a unified, cloud-hosted solution and consolidating voice, data, support, and billing under a single provider. The result was reduced downtime risk, lower maintenance and administration costs, improved call routing and customer experience, stronger business continuity, and more flexible future development options; BPL also reported fewer lost sales and cancellations, along with clearer budgeting and more efficient cost allocation.
