Trading Depot, the online trading sister company to Grant & Stone, faced a cumbersome, error-prone order process where staff had to manually re-key Magento orders into a legacy system, limiting throughput to around 50–80 orders per day and causing stock visibility problems. To modernize operations they partnered with Kerridge Commercial Systems and adopted the K8 ERP (integrated with their existing Magento platform) to automate order intake and warehouse workflows.

Kerridge Commercial Systems’ K8 integration now pulls orders automatically, generates pick notes and labels, and exposes accurate stock levels (around 80% visibility), enabling premium next-day shipping, “buy 10” purchasing deals, and streamlined purchasing-to-sales workflows. The results are measurable: turnover doubled within seven months of going live, three roles were not replaced due to efficiency gains, and 14 users now run orders, stock, pricing and accounts through K8.
