Case Study: Tilespace gains real-time accounting and analytics with Kerridge Commercial Systems' K8 Babbage

Tilespace upgrades to the latest release

Tilespace, a two-branch specialist retailer of tiles, sanitary ware, taps and fittings and a Kerridge Commercial Systems customer since 2010, needed to modernize its ERP to improve financial controls, real-time accounting and analytics. They upgraded from K8.07 to K8 Babbage to gain enhanced GL and cashbook functionality, web-based credit controls and deeper data analysis.

Kerridge Commercial Systems implemented the K8 Babbage upgrade, delivering GL posting exports to Excel, a cashbook, real-time transaction posting, a refreshed accounting interface, web client credit‑limit overrides and a data warehouse for BI and KPI reporting. The result was up‑to‑date account figures, easier GL exports, improved analytics and almost zero issues at go‑live, demonstrating measurable operational and reporting improvements for Tilespace.
