A Kerridge Commercial Systems Case Study
Sarnia Foods is a contract food manufacturer producing soups, sauces, juices, smoothies and vegetarian products that needed an ERP to support rapid growth, stricter food-safety audits and the end of spreadsheet-driven processes. After moving to a much larger 21,000 sq ft site, the company wanted a cloud-based system with batch traceability, variable-weight handling and strong scanning/barcoding capabilities, and chose Kerridge Commercial Systems’ K8 LV software to meet those requirements.
Kerridge Commercial Systems implemented K8 LV to centralise recipes and costs, generate tailored works orders and production plans, and introduce barcode scanning across goods-in, production and finished goods. The solution cut the paper trail, addressed rotation and yield visibility, and greatly increased pick accuracy while speeding up auditing and traceability — outcomes Sarnia credits to Kerridge Commercial Systems’ K8 LV and ongoing development of additional scanning and label-printing functionality.
