Rock Trading and Distribution, a supplier of engineered wood products, insulation and cladding and the regional distributor for Porotherm blocks, needed a standalone trading environment separate from its parent RGB while still allowing trade with them. Kerridge Commercial Systems implemented the K8 system under a tight schedule of less than three months from contract to first day of trading, with the project run using Kerridge Commercial Systems’ METIS methodology and careful RAID control to manage risks and dependencies.

Kerridge Commercial Systems delivered a fully integrated K8 solution with training and scenario testing that left users about 90% ready by go‑live, enabling fast sales order processing, advanced purchasing and stock control, flexible financials and data export for group consolidation. The deployment provided an intuitive, scalable platform to support Rock Trading and Distribution’s growth and improved operational efficiency and reconciliation while preserving a proven vendor–customer partnership.
