ADM Pressings, a Newcastle upon Tyne manufacturer of pressings, assemblies and fabricated products for major automotive customers (Aston Martin, Bentley, JLR, JCB, Caterpillar), needed a reliable, scalable IT backbone to replace time-consuming manual reporting and to support rapid growth across multiple sites. Having first implemented K8 Manufacturing in 1999, ADM also faced unreliable data connections at a second Gateshead location that caused session timeouts and hampered day-to-day operations. Kerridge Commercial Systems and the K8 Manufacturing platform were central to addressing these challenges.

Kerridge Commercial Systems worked with ADM Pressings to evolve and extend K8 Manufacturing—developing management dashboards with ADM, integrating sales-to-delivery processes, production scheduling, stock control and finance, and upgrading the Gateshead link to a 100 Mbit/s superfast Ethernet connection. The result is real-time, user-defined dashboards and weekly/monthly reporting that removed spreadsheet bottlenecks, seamless and reliable site connectivity, and a robust, scalable system that supports ADM’s operational growth and improved financial and asset management.
