K8 chosen to standardise IT within Primaflow F&P

Primaflow, the UK’s largest plumbing and heating wholesaler, needed to standardise IT across the merged Primaflow and F & P operations to support three regional distribution centres, five sales offices and an extended trans‑shipment network while maintaining a 5pm cut‑off for next‑day delivery and integration with eCommerce and ePOD. They chose the K8 ERP system from Kerridge Commercial Systems to replace disparate systems and provide an open, linkable ERP backbone.

Kerridge Commercial Systems deployed K8 on the K‑Cloud to manage sales transactions, stock allocation, warehouse picking, route planning, invoicing and delivery management. The solution now processes about 20,000 sales transactions per week (approximately 50 sales staff × up to 100 calls/day), delivered a seamless go‑live where everything on day one was picked and delivered successfully, improved stock visibility and query resolution, provided a cleaner, quicker sales UI, and added disaster‑recovery and scaling flexibility — with further ePoD and K8 enhancements planned.
