A Kerridge Commercial Systems Case Study
House of Goodness Group, a multi-site distributor with businesses from builders’ merchants to health food, needed to move from its long-standing Kerridge Commercial Systems platform to the latest K8 release to better support multi-company operations, tighter financial controls, improved online trading and mobile access, and to simplify direct debit and foreign-exchange processes. To meet these challenges the group chose Kerridge Commercial Systems’ K8 Babbage upgrade.
Kerridge Commercial Systems implemented the K8 Babbage upgrade, including the browser client, enhanced Web Builder integration, role‑based workplaces and centralized financial controls, while keeping user training minimal. The upgrade went live smoothly, delivering measurable benefits—about 15 hours saved per month on direct debit processing, easier FX payments, faster query resolution and a thin‑client platform that supports future incremental upgrades and improved online trading.
