A Kerridge Commercial Systems Case Study
Electro Tech, a Namibian electrical wholesaler founded in 1989 with headquarters in Windhoek and branches in Prosperita and Swakopmund, was running three separate systems for retail, admin and workshop operations. To consolidate processes and create “one version of the truth,” Electro Tech selected K8, the integrated ERP solution from Kerridge Commercial Systems, to be hosted on‑premise for fifteen users.
Kerridge Commercial Systems implemented a single, consolidated K8 system across all branches so sales staff can view stock across locations, improve sales–purchase integration to prevent dead stock, and use central forecasting and buy‑outs to reduce stockholding and improve customer service and margin management. K8’s low‑bandwidth thin‑client technology also allows remote branches to connect without costly internet upgrades, delivering a unified view of stock, sales, financials and purchasing and measurable improvements in stock control and responsiveness.
