BPX, a Leicester-based electrical wholesaler established in 1965 with nine UK branches and over 120 staff, needed an online trading solution to attract new customers while preserving local branch relationships and improving customer service. To meet this challenge, BPX partnered with Kerridge Commercial Systems and chose its Web Builder integrated online trading application for SOP, stock and accounting integration.

Kerridge Commercial Systems implemented Web Builder alongside new server infrastructure and an eight-person-year catalogue build, launching an online store with 35,000 products. The rollout delivered 24/7 global trading, multi-location processing, self-service task automation, maintained customer-branch relationships and improved customer experience — enabling BPX to broaden stock availability, boost upsell opportunities and extend its customer base.
