A Kerridge Commercial Systems Case Study
Ark Trading, a long-established builders’ merchant in Windhoek, Namibia, engaged Kerridge Commercial Systems to implement a new ERP ahead of trading under new ownership on 1 January 2016. Facing tight time constraints after Paul Koster bought the business in late 2015, Ark Trading needed a fast, low-disruption go-live and staff training to ensure operations could start smoothly on day one.
Kerridge Commercial Systems implemented the K8 ERP using standard printing templates and worked with Ark Trading’s strong internal project team to go live in the first week of trading. The K8 rollout eliminated manual stock back-orders, improved stock forecasting and lead-time estimates, enabled direct deliveries of bulk materials, and delivered better stock tracking, customer service and management reporting — measurable efficiencies that reduced risk and supported Ark Trading’s growth plans.
