Allmakes 4x4, a long-established international supplier of Land Rover parts and Terrafirma accessories, faced limitations from a bespoke 1980s system that struggled with modern e-business needs: slow order processing, poor export consignment handling (critical since over half their business is export), and rising support difficulties. After reviewing options, Allmakes selected Kerridge Commercial Systems and its K8 solution to replace the legacy platform.
Kerridge Commercial Systems implemented K8 and supported development of the Allmakes K8 Web Portal using K8 APIs, giving global customers real‑time pricing, stock, order progress and the ability to place orders directly. The K8 rollout streamlined processes, sped up order handling, enabled internet trading, reduced phone enquiries, and drove a significant increase in sales—handling portal orders up to 980 lines with no manual intervention—delivering measurable efficiency and commercial gains.
