Magna, a global automotive supplier with 335 manufacturing operations and 96 product development, engineering and sales centers across 28 countries, selected Kepion to centralize and streamline its large-scale capital planning process. Facing fragmented data and workflows across multiple divisions and systems, Magna needed a solution to consolidate inputs, enforce approvals and give planners a single, secure environment for capital planning—Kepion’s corporate performance management software on the Microsoft BI platform.

Kepion implemented a centralized capital planning and tracking workflow that automatically imports and consolidates data from Magna’s many systems, provides designated dashboards and ad hoc reporting at any product-hierarchy level, and enforces security and a comprehensive approval chain for roughly 3,000 planning and reporting users. As a result, Kepion enabled Magna to accelerate planning deliverables, improve data access and governance, and manage capital planning across divisions from a single web-based interface.
