Federal Aviation Administration - Customer Case Study

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), the U.S. agency responsible for aerospace safety, air traffic management and related services, faced the challenge of planning and optimizing large-scale employee training and managing demand and costs across the organization. To address this, the FAA deployed Kepion (alongside River Logic) to support Demand Planning, Expense Planning, Management Reporting and Territory Planning for its workforce.

Kepion was implemented to model and optimize the FAA’s training programs—roughly 20,000 sessions per year—and to enable robust scenario planning for demand and cost management. Using Kepion, the FAA gained improved planning, expense visibility and reporting capabilities, allowing them to evaluate scenarios and better manage training demand and program costs.
