Invisible anti-theft RFID UHF system for libraries

Libera Networks, a system integrator based in Spain, needed an effective way to prevent theft at the Library of Galicia while keeping the installation unobtrusive. The challenge was to secure a wide entrance without visible equipment, and Keonn Technologies provided its AdvanSafe overhead anti-theft RFID system for the project.

Keonn Technologies installed five AdvanSafe units over the ceiling, making the system completely invisible while covering an entrance several metres wide. The solution detects any book that has not been checked out and triggers an alarm, improving loss prevention while complementing other RFID UHF systems Libera Networks deployed for self check-out, reception, and inventory.
