Much Asphalt, an asphalt supplier in South Africa, needed a better way to identify trucks collecting material across multiple sites and reduce manual errors in the process. Keonn Technologies provided an RFID-based solution using AdvanReader-70, Advantenna-SP12, and AdvanScan to support truck identification and tag encoding.

Keonn Technologies implemented the system at 15 sites, with readers installed on the entry and exit weigh bridges and handheld devices used to scan license disc QR codes and encode windshield RFID tags. The result was improved efficiency, elimination of human errors, and assurance that each truck was loaded with the correct weight of material.
