Yachting.com is a boat‑booking portal offering over 15,000 yachts, catamarans and houseboats and handling more than 3,000 bookings a year, with ambitions to become a global leader. The company needed to simplify a complex, time‑consuming booking process—captains had to coordinate crews, contracts and payments across multiple participants—so bookings could be completed quickly and reliably.

ACTUM implemented a Kentico‑based solution with Salesforce integration, a personalized self‑care portal, automated reservations and online payments, enhanced search and integrations with specialized yacht‑booking systems. Features include crew list upload, captain license verification and SMS contract signing; rebranding and email marketing were also deployed. The result: order processing dropped from seven hours to about 10 minutes (a 97% decrease), international visitors rose 41%, and page load time improved by 95%.
