Wisconsin Technical College System (WTCS) is a network of 16 colleges offering more than 300 career programs and customized business solutions across Wisconsin. Their intranet contained thousands of documents but suffered from poor taxonomy and clumsy admin workflows, making it difficult for users to find resources and for multiple editors to upload and publish content consistently.

Ascedia audited the old site, worked with WTCS to define a clearer content taxonomy and had the client re-categorize materials, then implemented Kentico CMS for its intuitive admin, role-based permissions and event calendar. The new site lets staff update content easily, helps users find information within seconds (reducing bounce rates), and provides simpler event management for intranet users.
