Wine Selectors - Customer Case Study

Wine Selectors is an Australian B2C wine retailer and publisher serving over 200,000 customers and producing the Selector magazine (readership ~92,000). Facing an aging 2012 platform, they needed a PCI-compliant re-platform to support e-commerce and marketing automation, complex ERP and POS integrations (Microsoft Dynamics NAV and JBoss), both guided and unguided customer journeys (including airport kiosks), personalised marketing, and improved member self-service.

Devotion rebuilt the site on Kentico EMS with a redesigned UX, cart optimisation (single-click checkout for registered users), and real-time integrations via secure JSON APIs to NAV, JBoss and external services (payments, address lookup, documentation). The platform supports complex pricing, gift cards, segmented marketing (including abandoned-cart workflows), and SEO-ready product feeds; the result is a brand-forward site with richer content from Selector magazine, deeper self-service and wine-plan capabilities, and stronger, more automated customer relationships.
