A Kentico Case Study

Preview of the White Scar Cave Case Study

White Scar Caves - Customer Case Study

White Scar Cave, the longest cave tour in Britain located in the Yorkshire Dales, needed a website that showcased its 100‑million‑year‑old heritage and dramatic chambers while driving visits and ticket sales. The challenge was to appeal to diverse audiences—families, schools, cavers and tourists—and to present the cave’s majesty without revealing too much, all while meeting the growing expectation for mobile‑friendly content.

The solution was a mobile‑first, responsive site built on a “less is more” content philosophy, delivered via Kentico to support multiple editors, workflows and future features like online ticketing. Since the April 2016 launch the site has seen conversion rise to 2.97%, organic search traffic exceed industry averages by 85%, and a bounce rate 30% better than the industry average, signalling strong engagement and improved ticketing potential.
