Wesley-Barrell is a family-run, century-old British furniture manufacturer and retailer known for high-quality bespoke pieces. Facing increasing competition from online retailers, they asked Ridgeway to redesign and redevelop their website to be easier to maintain, support integrated CMS and e‑commerce, handle a complex, personalisable product range, address mobile audiences, and provide extensive content to generate higher-quality leads.

Ridgeway built a visually rich, mobile-responsive site on the Kentico CMS (at the time a Kentico-first responsive implementation), developing custom product-configuration tools, EFACS ERP integration and a showroom quotation workflow so customers can customise, preview and purchase or save bespoke items. The new site is managed in-house, increased mobile traffic by 63% and new visitors by 52% in the first three months, helped lift showroom footfall, met recent sales targets and is on track for a projected 300% revenue increase in year one.
