BTG plc needed a dedicated US website for Varithena®, its varicose vein treatment, within the BTG‑IM umbrella. The brief required dual content streams for patients and health care professionals (with gated HCP access), Google Maps integration for a “Find a Doctor” feature, full mobile responsiveness across iOS/Android/Windows, and custom JavaScript and web‑part work to support an auto‑updating physician directory.

Discover IT built the site on Kentico using fluid, Bootstrap‑based responsive layouts, implemented a secure HCP confirmation flow, and developed a customized, styled Google Maps “Find a Doctor” with ZIP/City, distance, name, search and “use current location” functionality. The site went live on October 19, 2016, and early analytics showed improved engagement: pages per session +6.28%, bounce rate −7.41%, and sessions +17.58%, while remaining easy to manage and customize.
