St Andrews University Store partnered with Precedent to launch an online extension of its high-end High Street shop, selling luxury branded goods such as Hunter wellies, cashmere and leather accessories. The brief was to recreate the store’s premium look and feel online, showcase quality merchandise and ensure strong search visibility, while overcoming technical challenges around synchronising Fashionmaster stock feeds and integrating the Realex payment gateway.

Precedent delivered a simple, elegant site built on core Kentico ecommerce functionality, emphasising clean architecture and bespoke photography to lift the visual experience, and integrating the required stock and payment systems. Since a soft launch in January the site has attracted over 5,500 visitors and generated nearly £4,500 in sales in just over a month.
