Trimcraft - Customer Case Study

Trimcraft, a long-established arts-and-crafts company with a highly active online community, needed to modernise an outdated, hard-to-navigate website while preserving heavy user-generated content. The old site contained around 220,000 project pages and many blogs, so the project also had to simplify migration (only projects and blogs published after January 2012 were transferred) and make the site easy for editors and contributors to upload and interact.

Distinction rebranded and redesigned the site as "The Craft Blog," focusing on clean design, clearer navigation and interactive UI, and built it on Kentico with custom page types, forms and forum functionality to support submissions and in-house content management. Since launch Trimcraft has seen a 24% increase in pages per session, an 18% rise in page views, a 19% increase in average session duration and an 18% reduction in bounce rate, alongside positive user feedback.
