Translink, the service partner behind the Dutch OV‑chipkaart, needed a modern, user-friendly intranet to replace a fragmented network‑drive system. Employees struggled to find and manage documents, and Translink wanted a tile‑based, horizontally scrolling intranet with custom metadata, easy search and filtering, user‑created workgroups, document check‑in/out and versioning, plus personalization.

TrueLime built “Joost” on Kentico 7, adding custom content types, metadata, smart search and a Windows‑8‑style tile interface with live tiles and drag‑and‑drop personalization. Delivered in five months, the solution provides workgroups (agenda, messaging, wiki, media gallery), document collaboration, self‑service forms and profile management. The result is a contemporary intranet with a large knowledge base, faster findability, stronger team collaboration and enthusiastic users ready to retire the old network drive.
