Tourism Ireland, the organisation charged with marketing the island of Ireland to overseas leisure and business visitors, needed a website that could promote campaigns like the Wild Atlantic Way across more than 20 international markets. Working with Strata3, their brief focused on increasing inbound tourism and supporting Northern Ireland’s tourism potential, while overcoming a complex information architecture and making the site work for multiple user journeys and markets.

Strata3 delivered a responsive redesign built on the Kentico CMS with social integration, interactive market maps, a searchable “who’s who” directory, and ongoing hosting and support. The launch improved user experience and key metrics: sessions +6.37%, users +4.51%, average time on page +21.26%, social referral sessions +343.18%, mobile traffic +6.5%, with smaller gains in session duration and returning users and a reduced bounce rate.
