The Copyright Hub - Customer Case Study

Copyright Hub is a unified online portal commissioned to bring transparency to copyright in the digital age by connecting AV, music, image and publishing organisations so creators, publishers and users can find rights holders and obtain permissions. Lime Digital was selected to build the site on Kentico CMS; the brief was steep — aggregate more than 20 organisations (from Getty Images to the BBC), make complex copyright information accessible, support integrations and scalability, meet Level AA accessibility, and deliver within a non‑negotiable 12‑week deadline.

Lime spent the first weeks aligning 16 stakeholders, mapped the information architecture, prototyped wireframes in Kentico and built a flexible, accessible platform with news, blogs and a bespoke rights‑finder tool that integrates with partner systems. The live site now helps users locate rights owners and understand copyright in plain language, ranks highly in search, attracts about 4,600 visits per month and handles roughly 50–100 permission requests each month.
