A Kentico Case Study
The Canadian Institute of Planners (CIP), a national professional association representing more than 7,500 planning professionals, engaged Seventyeight to rebuild its web presence as a modern, member-focused, cross-device platform. Key challenges included organizing a bilingual Resource Library of several hundred items, hosting more than 1,000 content pieces across 15–20 templates, integrating and securing content from a third‑party AMS, ensuring full responsiveness, and enabling non‑technical staff to manage day‑to‑day operations.
Seventyeight implemented the site on Kentico with Bootstrap 3, creating a custom Resource document type with in‑page filters, language_EN/language_FR template latches for bilingual output, and consolidated AMS links via redirect pages plus a cookie‑based Random Redirection for secure content; a proxy page ensured seamless transitions to AMS pages. The result is a responsive, socially integrated site that launched successfully, with the Resource Library well received, consolidated link management, secure AMS access, and CIP staff trained and empowered to maintain the site.
