The Bridgespan Group - Customer Case Study

The Bridgespan Group, a global nonprofit that advises mission-driven leaders and philanthropists, engaged BizStream to overhaul Bridgespan.org to support a mobile-first experience, stronger search and content discovery, and complex features like custom user profiles, newsletter management, and rich taxonomy. The project also required migrating 60,000+ user profiles and hundreds of content items from an unstable, outdated CMS while preserving thousands of existing URLs and working with limited in-house marketing resources.

BizStream rebuilt the site on Kentico (responsive Portal Engine), implemented document tagging and content categorization, customized Kentico Smart Search, and created custom SQL and redirect scripts plus an import/export workflow and Compare for Kentico for environment sync. The relaunched site (Sept 22, 2016) produced measurable gains: search activity increased ~38% and total abandonment rate fell 56%.
