South32 is a newly formed, globally diversified metals and mining company seeking to establish a strong digital presence for both internal and external audiences. As a new entity with diverse global stakeholders, it needed a complete digital strategy and technical stack to support B2B and B2C communications across web, mobile and social channels, plus a central CMS to raise brand awareness quickly and manage complex stakeholder engagement.
Ogilvy delivered a digital communications strategy based on stakeholder interviews, analytics and a business review, and recommended a technical stack and content governance model; Kentico was selected as the central CMS. The solution included a Kentico-powered website, a staff app, improved social media presence and content curation/governance, resulting in a launched site and app, streamlined communications, and an affordable, fit-for-purpose platform.
