Smiths Power - Customer Case Study

Smiths Power, a supplier of power distribution, conditioning, protection, and monitoring solutions operating under multiple brands (PDI, ONYX, PolyPhaser, Transtector, LEA, RO Associates), sought a new website to boost customer acquisition and retention, simplify product discovery, and present each business unit clearly. The main challenge was building distinct microsites for each brand that felt like one cohesive site while making it easy for customers to find specific products and technical support.

Wakefly implemented the site on Kentico using custom tables and a module to import/export product data, plus dynamic front-end filters and templates generated from those tables. This reduced the number of templates, allowed non-technical editors to manage products in CMSDesk, and made adding new product types low-cost. The result is a unified microsite structure accessible from the homepage, improved user experience for finding and saving products, easier content management, and lower site ownership costs.
