Seventyeight Digital, a Toronto-based interactive technology firm, needed to replace a mix of disconnected tools with a single, easy-to-adopt intranet and extranet to support flexible remote work. Key challenges included migrating a large legacy document store, integrating a support ticketing system, keeping staff updated on tasks and KPIs, and providing secure client access without the steep learning curve they experienced with other platforms.
They implemented Kentico’s intranet portal to centralize document libraries (with WebDAV), workgroups, project/task management, roles and permissions, dashboards and messaging, largely building the core in days with minimal custom code. The result was faster adoption, improved company- and project-level communication, reduced email and rework, secure client collaboration portals, mobile usability and a scalable platform for future growth.
