Seamus Heaney - Customer Case Study

Seamus Heaney Home, a Mid Ulster Council initiative delivered with partner i3Digital, needed a promotional and educational website to celebrate the Nobel laureate’s life and support the launch of a new visitor centre. The brief required a sensitive, inclusive design that presented Heaney’s work without privileging any single interpretation, plus e-commerce for merchandise and integration with a third‑party ticketing provider ahead of the September opening.

i3Digital built the site on Kentico for scalability, ease of editing and rich out‑of‑the‑box features, with dedicated hosting and a restrained, earthy design that reflects Heaney’s world. The site went live in May 2016, has received very positive stakeholder feedback, and will expand with a shop, merchandise and visitor trails to act as the centre’s key promotional hub; comparable performance data is not yet available.
