Save the Children Netherlands needed a modern, flexible website to serve diverse audiences (individuals, policymakers, schools, volunteers) while increasing donations and maintaining SEO. The brief from the global child-rights NGO required personalized, brand-consistent content, a balance between storytelling and fundraising, a widget-based CMS for flexible page building, and delivery on a tight schedule.

Icemedia implemented the front and back end in Kentico, translating the design into a responsive site built from reusable content blocks so editors can easily target content to the right audiences. The relaunch delivered a better user experience, retained good SEO and — within one month of going live — raised conversion from 1% to 8% (an 800% increase), driving more donations to support Save the Children’s work.
