Sauder Woodworking Company, a leading North American ready-to-assemble furniture manufacturer, needed to replace a dated Classic ASP site with a modern e-commerce experience that informed consumers, boosted brand recognition, and enabled online purchases. Key challenges included a short timeline, complex custom checkout requirements, tight integration with their SAP ERP, tax/shipping/payment integrations, multi‑brand flexibility, and better search and social sharing capabilities.

Sauder selected Kentico EMS and partnered with BizStream to deliver training and rapid implementation. BizStream built a customized Kentico shopping cart and web parts, integrated ERP, tax, tokenized payments, inventory/shipping logic and analytics, and added mobile, a Lookbook, blog, and marketing automation (abandoned-cart emails and review campaigns). The result was a fully functional B2C e-commerce site launched on schedule that improved the shopping experience, increased conversions and reviews, and provided a scalable foundation for future growth.
