Royal Geographical Society - Customer Case Study

The Royal Geographical Society (RGS) is a UK learned society and charity serving public and professional audiences, including 16,000 members, but its 2005 CMS left important content buried, created a confusing navigation, and poorly integrated with its OpenEngage CRM. With a looming PCI‑compliance deadline during peak membership renewals, RGS needed better content scheduling, seamless CRM integration, simpler navigation, responsive design, and reliable online transaction and booking functionality.

NetConstruct rebuilt the site on Kentico, giving RGS drag‑and‑drop content management, media tools, workflows, personalization and robust CRM integration, while resolving PCI compliance and improving branding and navigation. The result is a scalable, visually engaging site that brought key resources to the fore, smoothed transactions and membership processes, and drove strong engagement — 371,700 new users, 617,000 sessions and 2,000,000 page views between 8 March 2018 and 31 January 2019.
