Roehl Transport engaged Skyline Technologies to redesign Roehl.Jobs, their primary driver recruitment site, to better attract over‑the‑road truck drivers. The challenge was to deliver a mobile‑first, responsive site (mobile users were ~65% of traffic) on a robust, easy‑to‑manage WCMS that integrated with multiple third‑party applicant tracking systems and the company’s recruiting call center, supported a custom pre‑qualification flow for CDL training, and met strict requirements for scalability, geo‑redundancy and 99%+ uptime in a cost‑effective hosting environment.

Skyline implemented Kentico EMS and built a responsive site with a custom job database, persona‑based content and search, a multi‑step pre‑qual application that outputs structured XML for ATS integration, and connections to the recruiting call center. The site was deployed to Microsoft Azure using Traffic Manager in an active/passive configuration with geo‑replicated SQL and monitoring for failover. Delivered within 10 weeks of creative completion, the launch drove a >5% traffic increase in month one, mobile share rose to 67%, mobile bounce fell 14% (desktop 9%), and site stability and downtime were significantly improved.
