A Kentico Case Study
Radio Alive is a national campaign run by Commercial Radio Australia to promote radio advertising; WDM built the site using Kentico to map licence areas, stations and listening regions. The project faced large, inconsistent datasets (including images and logos), noncompliant import formats and the need for simple, state-based search and responsive map displays using Google Maps/GeoJSON.
WDM developed a custom Kentico module to model licence areas, states, stations and suburbs, plus a Web API that uses Kentico Smart Search and two GeoJSON layers for simplified and detailed maps, enabling smooth, near–real-time searching without page refreshes. The site—built on Kentico’s base license and designed for easy local updates—has driven hundreds of thousands of visits and delivered strong performance and positive technical feedback.
