Personnel Resources - Customer Case Study

Personnel Resources (part of PRcompanies) needed two public sites—Personnel Resources and PRemployer—that shared news, blogs and staff but had to appear and behave as separate, professional sites. The project required easy content management, elaborate BizForms and custom document types, multiple secure areas and complex user/role permissions. The central challenge was enabling content sharing while allowing all updates to be made in one place.

Bit‑Wizards implemented both sites in a single Kentico CMS instance, organizing content in site-specific folders, using a BizForm to map domains, and adding a custom .NET URL-detection function and modular user controls to render the appropriate site content; Kentico features (BizForms, web parts, document types, API, blogs, security) plus jQuery were used throughout. The result: consistent branding and simpler maintenance (content entered once but published on two sites), time savings, a big increase in traffic and employee request submissions, and improved productivity; the project completed in five months.
