ORBIS, a Menasha Corp. subsidiary that makes reusable plastic shipping products, needed its website updated to better serve an international customer base as it expanded with a new Mexico facility. Working within the Kentico CMS, the team faced two main challenges: building a custom, phonetic-aware search so customers could find proprietary products like the Rack’R despite nonstandard spellings, and integrating a streaming solution for roughly 700 product videos in multiple formats.
Omni delivered phased enhancements including a responsive, internationalized site, a Product Selector (metric/English, size tolerances) and a custom search with phonetic matching, synonyms and autocomplete so users and service reps find products quickly. Video management was integrated into Kentico while Microsoft Azure handles streaming to 700+ devices. The result: faster product discovery, improved customer experience, a launched Mexico site and a platform ready for rapid multilingual rollouts with lower maintenance overhead.
