Ontario Professional Planners Institute - Customer Case Study

The Ontario Professional Planners Institute (OPPI), the voice for planning professionals across Ontario, needed to modernize its online presence to better support member content, events and communications. Key challenges included building many custom content types and 15–20 input forms, enabling non‑technical staff to manage content, tight timelines, SEO and blog management, and tight integration with a third‑party Association Management System (AMS), all while creating a new visual identity and ensuring multi‑device compatibility.

Seventyeight Digital implemented a Kentico CMS solution using document types, WYSIWYG forms, media libraries, built‑in blogging and social features, and URL redirecting for AMS links. The result was a scalable, mobile‑friendly site that reduced development time, centralized media and SEO management, empowered staff to self‑publish with minimal training, consolidated hundreds of external links into a few maintainable redirects, and relaunched OPPI’s brand with improved content workflows and member engagement.
