In 2015 the National Allotment Society partnered with Kings Seeds to launch a private e-commerce portal giving members preferential pricing and delivery. The project had to serve an older, horticulture‑obsessed demographic and accommodate over 1,000 allotments with different procurement models—some pooling orders centrally, others ordering individually—so a very simple, accessible ordering experience was essential.
Red Transact built a responsive, single sign‑on site that leverages Kings Seeds’ B2C functionality (dynamic product filters, seed sowing data), Kentico CMS and TranSync integration with SagePay and Access Dimensions. Features include member order consolidation, discounts/member pricing, complex shipping calculations and quick order history; the result is an easy-to-use system that supports individual and pooled ordering, reduces delivery costs through consolidation and ensures product/customer updates and orders are processed within minutes.
