Naspers, a century-old global internet and entertainment group headquartered in Cape Town, needed a secure, modern and easy-to-use corporate website that reflected its established corporate identity and complex, multi‑company structure. The main challenges were updating the visual identity for a future-proof digital presence and flattening a ramified content landscape into a clear, horizontal structure while replacing the legacy CMS.

Emakina built a Kentico-based site with a generous, modern design that emphasizes staff, business areas and subsidiaries, and added features including real-time stock quotes with historical charts, a Google Maps partner overview with geo-search, and a searchable news archive back to 2008. The relaunch delivered the required security, usability and CMS flexibility, improved navigation for users and editors, and set the stage for ongoing UX work and a planned Kentico 11 upgrade.
