My Varicose Veins - Customer Case Study

My Varicose Veins is a Canadian educational website, created for BTG plc, that explains the causes, symptoms and treatments for varicose veins and helps visitors find local clinics. BTG hired Discover IT to give the site a fresh redesign while keeping all original content and to add a clinic finder. The key challenges were making the site fully responsive across devices, importing the existing content into the new design, and building a styled, interactive map that only shows doctors and clinics within 200 km of the user.

Discover IT rebuilt the site on Kentico CMS, used Bootstrap to ensure mobile responsiveness, and implemented a Google Maps–based clinic finder via a Kentico repeater with custom markers, address autocomplete and dynamic updates. In the first three months after launch (Sept 5–Dec 5, 2016) the site showed strong direct engagement (88.82% direct traffic, 7.24% organic, 3.95% referrals) and delivered improved usability across desktop and mobile, validating the migration and new features.
