Muslim Aid Australia - Customer Case Study

Muslim Aid Australia is an international relief and development agency (est. 1989) supporting projects in more than 50 countries. To increase online donations and better serve donors, the charity engaged Create Studios in 2014 to replace an underperforming site and build a responsive mobile app. The project had significant technical challenges: integration with seven external systems (most importantly Microsoft Dynamics CRM), multiple payment gateways and payment types, a donor portal that aggregates donations from all channels, and complex religious allocation and accounting rules that had to be enforced automatically.

Create Studios delivered a Kentico-based responsive website and mobile app with custom web parts, custom tables and scheduled CRM syncs to automate campaigns, donations and donor records (development ~4 months). The results were strong: donations have more than doubled since launch, mobile donations grew from negligible to a meaningful share, sessions rose ~58% (overall traffic up ~75%), donations in a June–July period increased ~111%, and conversion and engagement metrics improved markedly.
