Mr Kipling, a core ambient cake brand within Premier Foods, needed to replace its legacy Adobe ColdFusion/Shado CMS with a modern, .NET-based platform, refresh the site to a responsive design to match a major TV campaign, and provide a scalable, easy-to-manage admin system that consistently presented product and nutrition information and integrated social feeds — all on a tight deadline and able to handle large traffic spikes.

Monochrome migrated the site to Kentico 8.1, building a pixel‑perfect, responsive UI with Master/Child templates, Web Forms and modern front-end frameworks, reusable document types for product/nutrition data, social API integrations, and a LESS-based CSS workflow. Delivered by a five‑person team in two months to align with the TV launch, the relaunch (27 Aug 2014) drove a 300% increase in daily sessions (150 → 450+), 200% longer average session duration (1 → 2 minutes), unique visitors up from 72 to ~400/day, bounce rate down from 81.5% to 53.5%, and 35% of traffic from mobile/tablet — widely regarded as a successful campaign.
